We've had little trouble with our hosting company so far but these last couple of days were difficult. (If anyone want to know technical details: the Virtuozzo partition we are renting somehow ended up short of resources through no actions of our own and new processes failed to start. The problem was rectified by a reboot of that partition, although we received no explanation from the hosting company). If situation does not improve with them we will move to a different host.
In any event I would like to assure you that your data is safe - we're taking offsite backups at least every hour (sometimes more frequently), so even if the hosting company itself dies we have recent copies of the data. It may take us up to a day to rebuild the web site in a different place, but your data will be there when we're done.
