And, what is the difference between cards and numbers?

It would be great if there was a version of the site that used a different stylesheet!

Concept:

1. If I point my device to m.memengo.com/signin, I would see a page that contained only the sign-in box using the div.mainColumnInt style (already looks great on my mobile).
   1. When I click sign-in, I would see a listbox on the top to allow me to select my wallet, and the wallet unlock password dialog. The unlock wallet dialog would cover up the Search Cards box and the card list underneath it.
   2. After entering my password, the dialog would disappear leaving me on a screen with the wallet selection box on top, the search box below it, and the card list (100% width) below that.
   3. The search would work exactly as it does now, and the card list would auto-filter just like it does now.
   4. When I click on a card, the card would display between the search box, and the card list. (Instead of displaying in a div to the right, it would be a div between the search box and card list.)
2. When I click the "New Card" button, the new card dialog would cover the search and card list div.
3. The "Edit Card" button would have the same layout behavior as "New Card"

P.S. Thanks for all your work on the iPod app! It works like a charm. :)

Also, (on iPad's Safari) the web page will not scroll in the left pane (folders) section. Any plans to correct this? I even tried the new A1 Perfect Web Browser which supposedly will render pages in many different formats (ie firefox, IE, Safari, Opera, etc) but I could not get the scroll bar in the left pane window there either.

Another thing why do I have to list a website ?

This is one of the things that gets me sometimes cause I don't touch the phone for 2 minutes and the data I entered is gone cause of auto-lock.

I know that you can press the link to open it up in the built in browser and then from there open it up in Safari. It's would just be quicker and easier if this feature was available though. Plus if the page takes a long time to load, you would have to wait for it to load twice using the current method.

I think the best UI for this would be a press and hold on the field you want to copy and then the UI popup will appear on the bottom with the options "Copy" or "Cancel". The UI element I'm talking about is the same one that appears in Safari when you press and hold a link and it presents the option to open or copy the link.

The reason this is useful is because if you have a folder with many accounts, it would be easier, faster, and just a better overall user experience if you didn't have to rely on the keyboard or  a lot of scrolling to get to the card you want. 

From what I understand, if you implement the feature, it might require you to have the letter headings in the main list. I would recommend only showing the group headings when there are 6 or more items (which is exactly how the contacts app works), because if there is a small amount of items, you can easily get to the item you want and the group headings will just pollute the UI. 

As a side note, I've seen some people implement the letters on the side in a weird way. Instead of always having the letters A-Z visible, they only list the letters that actually exist in the list. This renders a weird looking UI that would just confuse more than help. One of the reasons it's confusing is because of the wide spacing between the letters. The other reason is that you only see a few random letters instead of A-Z, so it's not very easy to know why they are there. So just be sure that when you implement it, you include all letters, even those that don't have any cards for them. 

At first I was thinking that it should be a setting, but I think it makes more sense not to confuse the user and just include it by default kind of like how the contacts application doesn't let you choose to have it or not.

The only problem I can think of is the All Folders list which combines all the cards in one list and has the group headings with the name of each folder. One way I thought this could be solved is to not group the cards by folders. Basically combine all the cards from all the lists and only then sort them. This way the groups can now be the letters A-Z, and each group might contain cards from different folders. If someone does want the folder group feature, they could just go to the specfic folder they were looking for instead of using the All Folders list. 

I'm wondering if I could use a workaround to achieve the same results, basically:

1. Sync my current account (Account1) with my iPhone
2. Create a new account (Account2)
3. Sync the data on the iPhone with Account2
4. Delete Account1

I'm a little bit afraid to try it myself because I'm thinking all my data might get erased in step 3 because it would see that Account2 has no data and would wipe all the data on the iPhone instead of transferring all the data on the iPhone to that account on the website.

Should this work? Is there a different workaround? Is the email changing feature almost done and should I just wait for it?

I must be missing something obvious here….

I am loving this new tool; and I will be using it on a daily basis.

However, I wasn't aware that you could even print your cards so easily - this a good thing! (Obviously, you can't print until you log in - good!). Now that I DO know… is there any way of adapting this so that you can print individual folders and it's cards.

Ie. I have a 'Bank' folder and a 'Website Log In' folder. I would like to print the Website Log In folder, and NOT the Bank folder (for obvious reasons!). I know I could cut it with scissors, but this kind of 'report print' would be very very useful.

Apologies if this has already been asked - I couldn't find anything to it's sort but someone must have asked it before ?!

- website, when you have selected a folder it would be quite nice to show all the cards within that folder in the frame to the right of the folder list with the edit/delete options. Currently you only get the ability to edit/delete the folder having clicked on it, and have to expand the tree view to see the cards within. You could display just the Name of the cards rather then the full detail, would make accessing data quicker

- iPhone sync, when you are sync'ing from the iPhone the Sync button remains a dark blue but there is no visible notification anything is going on. In the phone bar at the top of the screen you get the circle going round thing but I've noticed a lot of other Apps also put this on the application screen when it is processing/doing something.

UPDATE 01/23/2009 3:05am PST: we have restored a backup copy from 1/22/2009 in read-only mode on a different server. We will continue to investigate with our hosting provider, hopefully we can save the last day of changes as well.

Plus, I had been using Password Plus for my Palm T/X. Great program but Palm is dying. An excellent feature was the ability to edit info to make it unique for me, not just the standard "credit card" default lines. Can I do this in Wallet?
