Having trouble getting to sign on page for my I-Phone Wallet. When I upgraded to the 4s none of my data was present to access in my wallets. I have a usable password but can't get to the sign page.

You probably already know this, but when you go to the site it says:

There is not enough space on the disk.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.IOException: There is not enough space on the disk.

Mike, for your concern there is an easy remedy:

After logging in on the web site please find the "print" button, then pring entire wallet to paper and save it somewhere safe, like the same place you keep your birth certificate or passport etc.

Also, if you keep making backups with iTunes the Memengo Wallet's data file is backup as well, so you will be able to recover later if things turn sour.

This does not negate the need to export, but hopefully addresses some of the concerns.

I haven't done anything to enable export in recent days, and I have much other work before I get to this.

Currious if you have given any more thought to this. I too would suggest a method of extracting into some sort of text file. My concern is having this stored in a place other than my computer. I am OK with the live data being stored on a server not in my control, but if anything ever happens to that server, or you go out of business and just shut the server down, all of my passwords would be gone forever.

Hi Denis,

Have you thought about outsourcing the development of the app for a share of the revenue? How many subscribers do you have on the site, and on the iOS ?

I wouldn't subscribe to the site as I have gotten used to getting it for free. I might have subscribed had it been a paid service earlier.

Or have you looked at the donation option? A friend has a web service ClikServ, that has a lot of experience with the donation option on desktop websites and might explore that on an Android app if you reach out to them. So even if a few people donate, the amounts are fairly large.

I hope these are useful ideas.

Most certainly not. Android version will come before Windows Phone, and even that is not being worked on yet.

Well, count this as another vote for actually doing it… you can already print wallets from the website, but it makes me edgy that I can't get the data out into a machine-readable form.

Yeah, it could be a potential security hole, but data loss is a security threat too. And you're already suggesting elsewhere, that users split up their data into multiple wallets for different security levels, in case they need to log in from an insecure computer.

Yes.
Rename one of the wallets to a distinct name.
Enter a folder in one of the wallets, press "Edit folder" at the bottom, and select a different wallet to move this entire folder into.
Repeat the preceding step for each folder.
When you're done you will have all folders with all cards moved to one wallet, and another wallet will be empty. You can now delete the empty wallet (make sure you're deleting the empty one).

Not really. For some reason, when I select 'all folders' the cards don't show up. A search bar and a keyboard show up. The only way to get the cards to show up is to type at least one letter in the search bar. THEN, cards containing that letter show up. So, if I type in an "a", my cards show up, but the screen is still half hidden by the keyboard. So I only have half a screen to flip through the cards with.

Hi Michael.

You don't have to search the cards - you can simply scroll down to see them. "numbers" is a folder you have created at some point in the past; you can create more folders if that helps you to organize your cards better. If you do, "All Folders" will display cards from all such folders, whereas individual folders show only what's in each of them.

The app always returns to the same place where you left it, so if you enter the "numbers" folder and the quit the app, next time it will take you right there.

Normally, after entering my encryption key and "unlock" I am presented with all my cards. For some reason, now I am presented with a choice between "all folders" and "numbers". If I choose either one, then I have to "search cards". I would like to go back to the way it was.

And, what is the difference between cards and numbers?
